Our approach to managing safety and operational risk builds on - our experience, operations audits and annual risk reviews. We seek to prevent incidents by carrying out inspections and tests of equipment critical to process safety, and by applying good design and engineering principles, as well as robust operating practices.

Health and personal safety

We are committed towards Health and Safety of our staff. We supply the necessary protective equipment to our staff. Each member of our workforce has an obligation and authority to stop unsafe work. We provide our operations staff with training on safety education and regularly monitor the work environment.

Continuous dialogue is maintained between employees and management on improving work conditions and safety initiatives. This dialog occurs through the joint worker management committees on Health and Safety that represent an average of 15 percent of workforce participation.

The continuous commitment to upgrade safety at work place has rewarded the Company with reduced number of lost dates, injury rates, zero work related fatalities and occupational diseases over the past years.
